White Horse – A good blend which was first produced in 1861, White Horse was the Blended Whisky of the Year in Jim Murray’s 2007 Whisky Bible. Really malty and quite sweet with honey, fruit and toffee. Supple and sumptuous. The finish is long and quite complex with notes of oak, peppy spices, and creamy vanilla.
Bells Scotch Whisky – Bells is a brand of blended Scotch whisky originally produced by Arthur Bell & Sons Ltd and now owned by Diageo. It is the best selling whisky in the UK. Quite smooth, medium body. Barley and cereals with nut oils, hints of wood and spice. Short with notes of fruitcake and smoke.
