Glenmorangie Cellar 13 – Rare and Collectible Whisky
Glenmorangie Cellar 13 was named after the storage Cellar 13 which is a low, stone built, slated roof and earthen floored warehouse on the shores of the Dornoch Firth, near the sea. Cellar 13 has matured for 10 years in American Mountain Oak 1st full cases, specially selected for this exceptional Glenmorangie malt. Released in limited numbers back in 2001 and eventually discontinued in 2008.
Bottle Code L8 086 02:46 3ML. “L8” means 2008. “086” is the 86th day of the year (26th March, 2008). 3ML refers to the “Almond Line” at the Livingston bottling plant. Please feel free to check this here.
Nose: Soft, with fresh sandalwood, vanilla, and wild mint.
Palate: Smooth and malty sweet, with butterscotch, vanilla and honey.
Finish: Salty and very long finish.
