Description
Oak Cross is a nice blended malt from Compass Box. John Glaser specially crafted this one, the whisky zealot. Besides, it contains highland single malts like Teaninich and secret malts from the villages of Carron and Brora.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Hints of light, stewed fruit, ginger, spice, toffee apple and stewed fruits.
Palate: Tart fruit, red apples, tannic, honey. Moreover, tiny hint of Christmas spice on the palate.
Finish: An oak, malt, spicy sweetness and milk finish.
