Macallan 1824 Estate Reserve – Collectible Bottle
The Macallan Estate Reserve draws on casks selected for maximum intensity and depth of flavours. Including some sherry-seasoned hogsheads, and has been bottled at the traditional strength of 80 UK proof (45.7%). The 1824 Collection is for the travel retail market, a range of Macallan’s.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Sherry on the nose, sweet Olosoro, pepper, berry fruits, calves leather and cedar wood.
Palate: Spices, nutmeg, cinnamon, rich sherry, cocoa, coffee beans and caramel.
Finish: Citrus, potpourri, malt, berry fruits, toasted walnuts, almond oil.
