Description
Highland Park Harald is the third of six NAS expressions in the Warrior series from Highland Park. This release is for the European travel retail market. Otherwise, it was matured in a mix of American and European oak casks. Displays sweeter notes intermingled with spice and oak. As for Harald Fairhair, he was the Norwegian king. Besides, he established the Orkney earldom and the special connection that Highland Park love to use in the marketing of their whiskies.
Tasting Notes
Color: Dark golden, clear and bright.
Nose: Vanilla, ginger root, peat smoke, dried strawberries and sandalwood hints.
Palate: Victoria sponge, grated nutmeg with a hint of lavender scents.
Finish: Complex and spicy with hints of peel.
