This blended whisky has been produced at the Eigashima or White Oak. And distillery was founded way back in 1888. In addition, Akashi takes its name from Akashi-shi, the southern Japanese city in which the distillery is found. Akashi Red Oak is rich in lovely stone fruit and citrus notes; A slight oaky flavour and vanilla creaminess will keep you coming back for more.
From its medicinal style bottle (with screw-top closure!) to its understated label, this is a simple introduction to the world of Japanese whisky!
