Description

Black Burn, founded by a Scottish blacksmith named William Blackburn in 1856 AD, brews single malt whisky in roasted oak barrels, which is deeply loved by residents for its mellow and dense charcoal aroma. Originally a whiskey drinker, he began to try to add peat to empty oak barrels. Fire and wood were burned together to produce cinder and strong smoky flavor. After burning, whiskey was added to the oak barrels to produce rich and mellow taste.

In order to create a unique whisky, he experimented and tested again and again until he felt it was the right one. The inhabitants liked his whisky so much that they elected him Sheriff and he became a local hero, and the inhabitants named their village after him. Black Burn whisky has since spread throughout Scotland and has become more and more famous, and the Black Burn has spread around the world.
